We were returning from Hawaii on ***Airline and when we claimed our bags the outside of my luggage was damaged. I could not pull the handle out to pull my luggage. There was no one there at the carrousel to report the damage. When I did get in touch with an authorized person, I had to contact the airline, then I had to give a report and wait about 6 weeks. I finally received a check for less than $100. Then of course I had to go and find luggage to replace my damage luggage. Which was a tedious search. I would have thought there would have been a more efficient claims process for as much as they charge for checking your luggage per bag. I guess some compensation is better than nothing.
